### Will consumers actually buy this?

myRA starts with what’s already known about your category. When that isn’t enough, she asks real buyers, in interviews, surveys or focus groups. Your team makes the call with all of it in one place.

**Visual description**

An evidence ladder shows a consumer decision supported by category research, optional expert review and research with real buyers. The steps feed the same study, with different routes chosen for different evidence needs.

## The quote that stings

**The line:** The study quote came back at eight weeks.

**Who says it (after the fixed dash):** an insights manager, on why the pack test never happened

**Why that ends it**

The launch window was six weeks wide. So the pack got picked on the loudest opinion in the room. Six months later, when it sold badly, nobody could say what had been tested. Nothing had been.

## An example of what comes back

**Eyebrow:** See it

### An example of what comes back.

Test packs with shoppers, track your brand every quarter, find out who buys, test a new idea with parents or price a new tier. See how the evidence changes the plan.

**Example questions**

- **Packaging testing**: Which of our three snack packs would shoppers pick at £2.50?
- **Brand health tracking**: Track awareness and trust in our coffee brand every quarter, with the same questions each time.
- **Customer segmentation**: Who buys premium dog food online, and what do they care about?
- **Concept testing**: Would parents pay more for a sugar-free kids’ yogurt?
- **Pricing research**: Here’s our member data. What would they pay for an ad-free tier of our streaming app?

**Visual description**

Each question opens its own animated walkthrough, with the selected question beside the current step: how the work starts (a brief, a standing watch, a timetable, the client’s own files or the people asked first), the analysis, primaries where direct answers matter, expert review where sector experience helps test the work, then the finished deck, report, dashboard, brief or signed report. Visitors can pause, replay or choose a stage. Every name and number is illustrative, and each question’s figures agree across its steps and its report.

## Research options

**Eyebrow:** Research options

### When the category runs out of answers, myRA goes and asks.

myRA builds on the category research, finds the buyers who matter and runs interviews, surveys or focus groups. Questions reflect your business and what the study still needs to establish. The findings go back into the same research.

A research path identifies a gap, finds relevant people, prepares the questions and brings their answers back into the study. The primary research option is highlighted for the sample decision.

## The work

**Eyebrow:** The work

### The studies a brand team actually runs.

Build on your past studies and the wider category evidence. myRA adds fresh research around the decision at hand, from a new pack design to a pricing change or product launch.

**Visual description**

Four illustrations accompany the studies below: groups of buyers and their preferences, competing pack designs, a message being tested, and repeated waves of brand research.

**Category and buyer research**

Understand who buys, what matters to them and why they switch. Read your past studies beside the wider market.

**Concept and pack tests**

Compare the options and the reasons behind each choice. Test with real buyers before choosing a design.

**Message and claim tests**

Find the promise buyers understand, believe and care about, and where the category leaves room for you.

**Brand tracking**

Follow the same questions across markets and over time. Set the brief once; myRA runs each wave.

## Common questions

**Eyebrow:** Questions

### Common questions

**Are simulated buyers real people?**

No. Simulations help you explore ideas before testing with real buyers. They are available on request and clearly labelled. Primary research collects evidence from the people your decision concerns.

**How long does a real study take?**

A focused study can run in days. myRA recruits participants, writes the questions and conducts the research, then analyses the answers alongside the evidence already collected. Before it starts, you see the audience, timing and credit cost.

**Can we bring our own survey data?**

Yes. Put past studies, tracker files or sales data into the project. myRA reads them beside the outside research and cites both, so you can always see which part of an answer came from where.
