### What is my competition doing?

The important move rarely comes in one announcement. myRA connects the pricing, hiring, filings and product changes, briefs you on what they mean for your business, and when the published record runs out, asks the people who see your rival every week.

**Visual description**

A grid follows several kinds of competitor signal over a number of weeks. Most checks show no change; a few pricing, hiring and product changes stand out. Those changes feed a brief explaining their importance and what to watch next.

## The quote that stings

**Quote:** We already have alerts. Nobody reads them.

**Who says it (as it renders):** every strategy lead who has ever paid for a competitor feed

**Why it stings**

A feed sends everything and decides nothing, so the deciding comes straight back to you. The work you paid to hand over is still sitting in your inbox on Friday afternoon.

## The work

**Eyebrow:** The work

### An example of what comes back.

**Example questions**

- **Competitor benchmarking**: Put the six biggest UK budget gym chains side by side on price, sites and member growth.
- **Competitor move analysis**: A rival airline cut fares on our Delhi–Dubai route by 20%. Can they afford to keep it up?
- **Win/loss analysis**: Talk to the enterprise prospects we lost this year. Why did they pick our two biggest rivals?
- **Competitor monitoring**: Tell me when a rival bank changes its savings rates or launches a new account.
- **Pricing intelligence**: Here’s our price list. How do our three rivals really price their pumps once installation and service are included?

**Visual description**

Each question opens its own animated walkthrough, with the selected question beside the current step: how the work starts (a brief, a standing watch, a timetable, the client’s own files or the people asked first), the analysis, primaries where direct answers matter, expert review where sector experience helps test the work, then the finished deck, report, dashboard, brief or signed report. Visitors can pause, replay or choose a stage. Every name and number is illustrative, and each question’s figures agree across its steps and its report.

## Feed or brief

**Eyebrow:** Feed or brief

### A feed forwards. A brief decides.

Turn competitor activity into a clear view of the market. myRA connects price changes, launches, hiring and filings, then explains what changed, why it matters to your business and what to watch next.

**Visual description**

Several individual alerts converge into one concise research brief. The transformation shows the difference between forwarding notices and explaining what they mean for the business.

## What a watch answers

**Eyebrow:** What a watch answers

### One change is noise. Five together are a direction.

A price change on its own means little. A price change, a hiring push in field sales and a new tier in the release notes are one decision showing up in three places. myRA reads the five signals together and tells you which way the rival is heading.

Pricing, hiring, filings, product releases and customer feedback form a ring around myRA. Signals flow into the centre to be interpreted together.

## Research options

**Eyebrow:** Research options

### Public signals first. Then the people who deal with your rivals every day.

Public signals rarely tell the whole story. Industry specialists, channel partners and customers can add context on adoption, pricing and buyer response. myRA weighs that evidence alongside the published sources.

**One small line under the link:** Want a second opinion? A named expert can check the work and sign it.

**Visual description**

A research path shows published evidence as the starting point, with primary research and expert review available when the question needs more support.

## Common questions

**Eyebrow:** Questions

### Common questions

**How is this different from the alert feed we already pay for?**

An alert says something happened and stops there, so the judging still lands on you. myRA reads the whole week, drops what does not matter, and writes down what the rest means for your business. She only sees what is public, so on a quiet week the brief says so instead of finding something to say.

**What about private companies, where there is less to see?**

A private company publishes less, so myRA works from what is public: announcements, product pages, job postings, patents, reviews and reported funding. Where the published record runs out, myRA asks the people who see that rival every week, and their answers go into the brief with their names on them. No inside information, ever.

**Can our sales team use this in front of a buyer?**

Yes: share a profile or a comparison as a link and your sellers read the same thing you do. Every line shows its source and its date, so a rep can quote it in front of a buyer without checking it first. What a rival plans in private is not in it, and the brief says so.
